Cricut Card Fairy Flight

Welcome to the THANKFUL Cricut Card Fairy Flight. This month we are practicing being thankful for all the blessings in our lives. What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for the parents of my daughters-in-love.  Without the upbringing
that they each had, with their unique experiences, they would not be the
perfect wives, that they are for my sons,

I've done over 300 missions with the Cricut Card Fairies and we are currently near 700 missions.  That's 300 volunteer missions created and sent.  600 prayers offered.  Many, many fairy friends and the chance to be part of something bigger than myself.

I am giving away a Christmas Seasonal Cartridge, if you are my winner you will have a choice of - Trim The Tree, Gingerbread Men or Winter Lace.  Since I am in Italy, I will have it sent directly to you from Custom Crops so hopefully your choice is in stock! :0)
or or

Flit along with the Fairies on our Thankful Tour!  If you came from  ScrappyJess  then you are in the right place.  If you were just visiting me and want to join, then you can start at our Cricut Card Commander's site here :Creating for Caitlyn The next stop on this Fairy Flight is: KarelJ's

All the links are here in case you get lost in the middle which is where I am.

My card inspiration is a simple Hot Chocolate pouch for which there are tutorials of all kinds on Youtube or SplitCoastStampers.  Mine is just one style of the many many out there.  This also completes my 2010 New Year's Resolution to try 12 different kind of folds for cards.

Joys of the Season and George and Basic Shapes Cartridges

My question for the hop is:  What part of the Thanksgiving meal is your favorite?
Mine would be the plate! Ha!  Gotta try a bite of everything and can't without a decent plate to put it on!

Just answer the question as a comment in this post, that's all you have to do.  I'd love it if you became a follower, but it is not required.

If you'd like to join the fairies on our missions, please email our card commander or visit us on the Cricut Message boards here.  To win the Hello Kitty Cartridge Grand Prize, you must comment at every blog along the way.  Winners will be announced on Monday, Nov 22nd.

 Happy Thanksgiving!

OH I have to say that pumpkin pie is my favorite!

Ohhh Snap said...

Congratulations! That is quite the accomplishment :D. Gorgeous card. It's difficult to pick *a* favorite, but I think it's pumpkin pie. My dad was always in charge of making the pies except the time I made thanksgiving for my cooking badge (in 5th grade). I'm not really a lover of cooking btw.

Beautiful gift card, TFS. My favorite part of the Thanksgiving dinner was my mom's cornbread dressing. I've tried to make it like she did, but it just doesn't taste the same. I do miss her so, but am thankful for the time she was here.

What a wonderful way to share your creativity! Love your card! My favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal would have to be dessert! That's if I'm not too full to eat it!

Love your project, the first one is my favorite with the warm shades of browns. My favorite part of thansgiving is after supper is finished and just sitting around the table remember Thansgiving gone by with the loved ones we have lost. Hope that makes sense.

There's something about cups of hot drinks, and the "steam" rising that I love. Hmmm.... I don't like cranberries, but if I have to pick a favorite it would be mashed potatoes. My big splurge is a heaping of mashed potatoes!

and lastly.... mashed potatos and squash are in a dead tie !!

My favorite part of the meal is... the mashed potatoes... with real butter... not a big fan of gravy! But dessert time is pretty good too! I love just sitting around and talking with family more than the food! Thank you for sharing your beautiful project with us and for having such a fun blog to follow!

Such a glamorous card. I love it! I've been creating these types of cards lately. I guess I'm going to have to scraplift. The best part of Thanksgiving is the cooking and watching people eat part for me. I like to cook and watch those I love enjoy the food. I pray they can taste the love that I've put into each bite. TFS!

This is such a cute idea! I have been wondering what to do for some people that I want to send small gifts to but can't really afford to do much. I'm gonna scraplift this idea if that's ok. :)

My favorite part of thanksgiving dinner is the mashed potatoes and the green bean casserole.

Thank you so much for sharing and I'm now a follower!

You gals are so awesome to send out cards to lift people's spirits up :) Love the idea of sending a card w/ hot cocoa in it! Who wouldn't love to get it? I might have to send one to my sis who just moved to Tennessee (from Southern California). I bet it's going to be pretty cold there during winter!

Shoot, I forgot to say what my favorite food was. I love my grandma in laws mashed potatoes. She uses white rose potatoes, evaporated milk, salt, and TONS of butter. It doesn't need any gravy on it, and we eat it straight for DAYS :))))
