Use Acetate

This focal image is Cricut cut is Aspen Trees from the Dimensional Paper Art Cartridge I lined the back of the trees with a medium blue and then chalked a light blue over the lower half of the focal point.

This shaker card material requirements:

  • White card stock
  • Dark Blue card stock
  • Medium Blue card stock
  • Light Blue card stock
  • clear transparency/acetate sheet
  • foam tape
  • high-tack, double-sided tape

  • Aspen Trees Image
  • turquoise ink
  • chunky glitter
  • snowflakes

My outer square was lawn fawn thin die cuts in successive sizes

I progressively measure inward to create each frame and then sewed the frames together Cut window/acetate sheet slightly smaller than outside dimensions of frame. Line frame with high-tack, double-sided tape and peel release liner from tape. Place window sheet onto back of frame and burnish well.

I then added a white dot at each 5th stitch and began adding the outer snowflakes.

Inside of the card all ready for a sentiment like:  "Baby it's cold outside" or "Brrrr" or "Let It Snow."

This card was fun to make.  Please join us at Moving Along With The Times and join our challenge!
