New Job - Working From Home

My son, Austin, recently secured the job of a lifetime, he gets to play video games for a living.and then writes the reviews.  Of course, he does freelance jobs too, but he has escaped the rat race of the daily office job and he is loving it, so I made this pedestal card with him in mind.

New Wings

This card inspired by a picture in my Son's house drawn by Bobby Chiu of a baby fairy looking at ants marching along a limb.   I thought of a baby fairy learning how to fly and hanging on.  I figured it would make a sweet get-well or thinking of you card.

Fairy skirt, flower from Home Decor cut 3 times and layered, Pop Dotted

Warm Winter Bunnies

Warm winter bunnies with love.  The bunnies are digi stamps from Bee Crafty.
I'm just learning about digi stamps and I had a blast coloring this one.  The picture doesn't do the rabbits justice because the white pen I used has texture that you can feel and I blended in the grays. The interior is Allison Pennington papers and has a light blue with white dots print that matches the ribbon.
Cricut hearts from George
Scalloped circles from Storybook

Monday, Monday

Before I left the States I bought this Bill Nye The Science Guy paper making factory.  I always wanted to make my own paper and use it for cards.  Little did I know how hard it would be to make good USEABLE paper.  It's easy to make paper, just hard to make it good.  I finally got a sheet or two that I could use and made this card.  I'm pretty happy with it.
