Purr-fect Palm tree

Two cards today.  The first day since being back, that I've actually had an idea for a card.  I've visited some of my favorite people's blogs, but I'm not fully back in the blogosphere yet.  I haven't visited the Cricut Circle in six months despite that I renewed my charter membership (or my husband did for me).

These are really basic as I delve back into my crafts and try to get them sorted and unpacked.... and put away the wedding stuff.

Purr-fect
I was singing a Jason Mraz song when this card came to mind.  "What a beautiful mess."  Aren't we all perfect in our beautiful messes of life?  I think so.

Palm Tree
This card has a movement coil so the hand waves when it is pulled out of the envelope.

Aw - good to see you back! You mentioned the ecraft! I love it - I had a wishblade and didnt get on with it too well, but this one I used out of the box! However, it doesnt do print and cut and the software that comes with it is a bit rubbish! But, I dont need print and cut (although am going to get wishblade out this coming week to have a go at it!)and I use MTC - so the downsides didnt bother me at all! I use it waaaay more than my wishblade and get consistently good results from it - it stays out and doesnt get shoved at the back of a cupboard. However, its like any cutter, it has a learning curve (for me, this was short because I had used the wishblade) and people dont like to spend time getting to know their machines! Phew - I didnt expect to leave a message that long! Hugs x

OMG, Penny, you are too funny! A palm tree! Hahahahaha! And your kitties are adorable. Looks like you and I will be trying to get our groove back together, although I can see from your cards you're way ahead of me already!

So glad you are getting your supplies unpacked and organized. I know you will be really up and at 'em in no time! Love both cards, the kitty is adorable and the palm is so clever! I like that it has the spring and waves at you when you open the envelope, great idea! Hugs, J:)

Hi Penny, I just stopped by again to let you know about my FIRST ever blog candy. Our group at The Lime Light are doing cards for soldiers and I am trying to get others to donate a card. If you are interested, check it out at:

I love the palm tree. I will have to tell my friend Kim about it. She will love the idea for her classroom. I think it needs to be on a springy thing so that it waves when you open it. Not that you would be able to tell that in a pic but still. Love ya! La
