So on the Cricut site, there is a picture of the sea coming out of a frame, there's a ship on it, etc. I loved it, but changed it up to make it mine. The sea coming out of the frame on the card, I used vellum to give the waves, sun and clouds an airy feeling with several layers.
I used the opposite cuts and some seagulls to decorate the inside of the card.
The Saying: Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, Drink the wild air's salubrity
is from Merlin's Song by Ralph Waldo Emerson
I had to look up the word salubrity which means drunkeness. The actual poem is VERY long. I decided to rhyme the drunkeness and make it "be free."
