Winner will receive a $25 gift code!

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images.

If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

Here is my entry:

Cricut Simple Pop-Up Cards digital cartridge
I've been trying a lot of the projects in Cricut Design.  It's helping me learn more about my machine and it's capabilities.  I'm really not good at pop-ups, I have so much trouble  understanding the folding.  I feel like you have to be an engineer for some of them.  But this one was easy.
Sequins were the required design element for this challenge mine are on the front, inside and on the envelope.

This has so many layers!  Putting it together was a real challenge.  Which is great!  I've really been trying to learn more about my Cricut explore machine.  Using the slice and weld features, customizing ready-made cuts, etc.   I also did some dry embossing which you can't see in the pictures, as well as, an easel on the back for the layered picture to stand on its own.

Valentine's day challenge

Challenge #294-Valentines Day
Make a project about Valentines Day.

I'm a little late to the card box phase.  Mostly because I was afraid of it.  It was a lot easier than I thought.  I bought the  Lori Whitlock All Occasions Box Cards digital cartridge
It made it very easy to cut.  I adjusted the anniversary card box for Valentines Day and our challenge at FANTABULOUS CRICUT.

The paper is from Fancy Pants
I used 3 different kinds of adhesive, added flowers and more hearts.

  • Cricut Explore® machine - Digital Design Help at Cricut Design Space
  • 12" x 12" StandardGrip Cricut® mat
  • Cricut Explore Scoring Stylus
  • Brown patterned cardstock (1)
  • Cream cardstock (1)
  • Pink cardstock (1)
  • Turquoise cardstock (1)
  • Green cardstock (1)
  • Yellow cardstock
  • Purple cardstock
  • Red Cardstock
  • Heart punch
  • Pre-made flowers
  • Adhesive
  • Floral cardstock (1)

This is how it folds flat. The make it now project cuts the envelope that fits it.  I lined this one with floral paper.
