Christmas Cards 2016

I'm not usually good at doing mass cards.  I just really like doing individual cards for each person.  Alas, time constraints took over this year.  This is my first mass production of Christmas cards.  I did 35 of them, most in one day!  I'm proud that they came out so nicely.

I used the slice feature in Cricut Design Space to get the flame for the candles.  A Martha Stewart punch for the boughs of holly, sequins for the berries.  The rectangles were cut on the Cricut using the shapes feature.  Close to My Heart stamps for the Merry Christmas and the card greeting inside.

Cricut embossing folder Dotted Swiss for the background, and the Holly folder on the green candle.
Red ribbon and bow finished it off over the fancy pants and glitter papers.

Whew, got them done and in the mail today.

Merry Christmas!

There will be 3 winners of $7 gift certificates!
And we are giving away a $25 Amazon gift certificate, courtesy of FCCB Design Team!  This prize will be given if there are 10 entries or more. To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used. If you use a Cricut Explore machine, at least one cut must be from the Cricut catalog of images. If it isn't a card, you will get two entries into the drawing!

This was my entry.  Made with shrinky dinks and cut on the cricut from the cartridge Merry and Bright.

Cut at two inches, a small hole punched in and shrunk in the oven for 5 minutes at 250 degrees  Then added to beads, ear-wires and an 18" chain. I hope someone likes them, If I don't wear them first!

I also made this necklace for a friend.  They are also all shrinky dink
The anchor is from Life is a Beach, the word Hope from Wall Decor and More.  The word was cut at 2.5 inches so there is room for a better hole.  Also, those little scroll details can be quite flimsy before baked.

And this one just the anchor with a Swarovski crystal is strictly for me.

Merry Christmas!
